| Join the members of the University of New Orleans National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) as they celebrate Black History Month on Tuesday, February 27, at 7 p.m. in the ballroom of the Homer Hitt Alumni Center. The evening's theme is "Reflecting on the Past . . . to Build a Brighter Future." The program will include information about each of UNO's NPHC fraternities and sororities -- their history and traditions, influential members, and community support efforts. The celebration will also feature cultural performances by NPHC members and local dance troupe Bamboula 2000, as well a keynote address by State Representative Juan Lafonta, a UNO alumnus and member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Free refreshments will be provided. |
